“I will repay you for the years the locusts have eaten— the great locust and the young locust, the other locusts and the locust swarm— my great army that I sent among you.
You will have plenty to eat, until you are full, and you will praise the name of the Lord your God, who has worked wonders for you; never again will my people be shamed. (Joel 2: 25-26)
This part of Joel always makes me take a deep breath with relief. We serve a God of healing and restoration.
Whatever you have lost, God has promised to restore.
Not only that, He will restore it to a version that is even better than the original!
Bright and hopeful. The apricot, vanilla, mandarin, and a hint of coconut keep it sweet, and then I added honeysuckle, which causes the scent to lean slightly floral.
