So far, I’ve shown you the Kitchen and Living ro So far, I’ve shown you the Kitchen and Living room from the Comfort House renovation. Today I’m sharing the front room. 🥰 As you can see from before, my clients are not afraid of color. They were putting it in too many places at once, and it had become overwhelming. I created a cozy reading corner by doing a neutral wall (SW Agreeable Gray) and putting color back into the furniture and custom built-ins. Sidebar: Both chairs have detachable ottomans and recline into a bed. They have reported that it’s their favorite nap spot ☺️ Restful design in real life. Love it!
Yesterday I debuted the kitchen from The Comfort H Yesterday I debuted the kitchen from The Comfort House, and today I’m sharing the living room🥰 As you can see, my client is NOT afraid of color. She chose to paint her walls peach and then realized she was having a hard time decorating. I gave her a clean slate to infuse color in concentrated layers instead of all over. Knowing that the other side had a wall of teal tile, I knew we had to keep this light and bright with colors that tied it together without the overwhelming. Ex: using green-blue iridescent tile on the fireplace What’s left is a sophisticated and comfortable space that she can adapt and change over time. Mission Accomplished! #lovesethieinteriors
Hi family! I know it’s been a while since I po Hi family! I know it’s been a while since I posted my design work. I’ve been working on a few projects in the background (and forgetting to take decent “before” pictures, as usual, 😂). Over the next few posts, I’ll share a amazing transformation of a home I’m calling The Comfort House. These homeowners were terrific, and It always felt like grandma trying to feed me and then getting on me about not drinking enough water.🫣 They were a dream client, and I even had my kids calling them the same nickname their real grandkids call them☺️ Working there always felt like home to me. ♥️ Do you see that gorgeous teal/viridian porcelain tile??!! 🎉 I’m so glad they trusted me enough to try it. 🙌🏾 I think it came out fantastic! Remember The Grace House? They are one of my fav Remember The Grace House? They are one of my favorite clients and own a real estate business with several offices. They asked me to help make on of them, a tiny shared office, functional and spacious. After consulting with the two energetic women that work in this office, I learned they wanted a practical use of space, with lots of storage and some unexpected design extras (using art they already purchased and a pop of color).
